The main menu on the home page of the Forestry Compendium enables you to
explore the wealth of information available.

These buttons are found on the right of the page; pop-up text boxes tell you
more about these features:
- Advanced Search: use this option to search all text-based content
(datasheets, glossary, bibliography and library)
- Find a datasheet: use this search to find
information on a particular tree species, pest, or country
- Species Selection: use this option to search for trees
to fit particular requirements
- Tree Seed Suppliers: use this option to search for information
on suppliers of seeds and microsymbionts
- Bamboo and Rattan: use this option to search for
datasheets and library documents on bamboo and rattan
- Library: use this option to search the library for information
on Aspects of Forestry.
- Notepad: use the Notepad feature as a store for your own personal
records
- Glossary: use this option to search in the
multilingual glossary of over

- Statistics: Production, land usage and trade data from the FAO and
USDA-FAS
